The Netflix remake of the classic romantic comedy "13 Going on 30," which originally starred Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner 22 years ago, was announced for a reboot in March with the streamer taking over production from Sony Pictures. This week, Deadline revealed the latest addition to the cast: German-Korean actress Adeline Rudolph (pictured above, left), who has recently been gaining fans for her role as Kitana in the upcoming "Mortal Kombat 2."

Prior to Rudolph's casting, Netflix had already locked in its new leads: Logan Lerman, known for starring in the "Percy Jackson" film series, and Emily Bader, who is gaining recognition for her leading role in "People We Meet on Vacation." The film will be directed by Brett Haley, who recently worked with Bader on "People We Meet on Vacation." The screenplay is penned by Flora Greeson, the writer behind "The High Note."
Additionally, Jennifer Garner, the star of the original film, is set to return as an executive producer. She recently served in the same capacity on the stage musical adaptation last year.
