BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced the latest addition to its "VIBRATION STARS" series, which focuses on dynamic character poses. The new release, featuring Akaza and Hakuji from the popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," is slated for release on June 25, 2026.
Akaza, Upper Rank Three under Demon King Muzan, is known for his desire to fight strong opponents, leaving a profound impression on viewers from his first appearance. As the story unfolds, his past as Hakuji is revealed—a powerful martial artist who relentlessly trained for his loved ones. However, just before his wedding, his fiancée and father-in-law were tragically poisoned. Losing his sanity, he slaughtered over sixty people responsible and was subsequently turned into a demon by Muzan in a dazed state. He lost his past memories, retaining only the obsession to become stronger.
The "VIBRATION STARS Akaza・Hakuji" collection includes two figures, capturing both Akaza's demon form and Hakuji's human form. The Akaza version utilizes the same mold as the previously released "VIBRATION STARS SPECIAL Akaza," while the Hakuji figure features an entirely new sculpt. Both figures faithfully recreate Akaza's signature "Destructive Kill: Compass Needle" stance. The Akaza version's base features a distinct snowflake pattern. The identical pose, yet imbued with different emotions, adds a poignant depth to this release.
