BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's division has officially announced the latest entry in their "ROBOT魂" series of robot-themed posable action figures: the "Zwarth (H.D.)" from the anime "Aura Battler Dunbine," slated for release in November 2026.
Piloted by Sho Zama's arch-rival, the Black Knight (Burn Bannings), among others, the "Zwarth" is a heavily armed Aura Battler developed by the Kingdom of Ah. It incorporates the best features of the Leprechaun and Biarres units, utilizing cutting-edge technology. This machine spared no expense, boasting a high-power large Aura Converter, heavy weaponry, and thick armor, giving it superior performance over the Kingdom of Na's contemporary new model, the "Billbine."
The newly launched "H.D." series name stands for High Density. It aims to achieve highly detailed three-dimensional designs by analyzing and researching various creations related to "Aura Battler Dunbine" since its original broadcast. Unlike previous ROBOT魂 releases in the series, the H.D. version features an entirely new sculpt. Its design aesthetic pays homage to mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi's "AURA FHANTASM" column in "B-CLUB" magazine, imbuing the entire body's armor, joints, and wings with a profoundly organic feel.
The second release in the series, the "ROBOT魂 Zwarth (H.D.)," continues the design philosophy of the first entry, the "Dunbine (H.D.)." Its sculpt merges the demonic image of the Zwarth from "Aura Battler Dunbine New Story of Aura Battler DUNBINE" with more exaggerated body proportions. The beetle-like head and moth-like wings have been significantly enhanced with a more organic feel. The jet-black outer armor is rendered with multi-layered black tones and varying gloss finishes, further incorporating metal flange connection designs reminiscent of Western armor, adding mechanical characteristics to its organic silhouette.
The large Aura Converter mounted on its back features high-density detailing and articulation, with independent opening and closing mechanisms on both sides. The front sections of the shoulder armor also have an expansion mechanism, increasing the range of upward arm movement. Leveraging the articulation technology refined through previous Dunbine series releases, the torso and legs boast flexible posability. Combined with the cockpit deployment mechanism, a high kneeling pose can recreate its landing state. In addition to the original "Aura Sword," the figure also includes an original "Lance" weapon, designed for high-mobility hit-and-run tactics.
