BANDAI HOBBY, a model kit brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, is set to release its latest product from the anime "Bocchi the Rock!", the "30MP Nijika Ijichi" on June 26, 2026. Ahead of the official launch, the company has unveiled the box art and prototype images.
Nijika Ijichi, the energetic and cheerful leader and drummer of Kessoku Band, grew up with her older sister Seika. Inspired by her sister's singing on stage, Nijika learned extensive band knowledge and jazz drumming techniques from a young age. When she discovered her sister had left her band to manage the livehouse "STARRY" to support her, Nijika resolved to become an outstanding drummer, form a popular band, and make "STARRY" even more famous.
The "30MP Nijika Ijichi" continues the design aesthetic of the previous three characters, depicting her in a live performance pose, complete with her Kessoku Band top and wristbands. Utilizing Bandai's advanced color separation and part division technology, the kit faithfully recreates details like her triangular ahoge, adorable overalls, red scarf, and instrument accessories. The Kessoku Band logo on her chest is also reproduced with separate white parts, eliminating the need for stickers. In addition to two pre-printed face parts for swapping, the kit includes blank face parts and water-slide decals, allowing for even more customized expressions.
The kit also comes with various interchangeable hand parts and two types of shoe parts, enabling a wide range of poses and scenarios. Furthermore, a complete drum set, drumsticks, and a chair are included, allowing fans to recreate Nijika's cool drumming performances. Combine her with the already released Kessoku Band members, Hitori Gotoh, Ikuyo Kita, and Ryo Yamada, to complete the full four-member live stage!
