After a lengthy two-year production, the highly anticipated sci-fi film "Klara and the Sun," adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro's acclaimed novel of the same name, finally unveiled its first trailer early this morning.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Mia Tharia, Amy Adams, Natasha Lyonne, Steve Buscemi, Jenna Ortega, Simon Baker, and Rachel House, a frequent collaborator with director Taika Waititi.

The film is directed by Taika Waititi, known for his work on the "Thor" films, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Dahvi Waller, creator of the acclaimed miniseries "Mrs. America." It is slated for an upcoming release.
Ortega stars as Klara, a solar-powered Artificial Friend (AF) specifically designed to prevent loneliness in teenagers. When Klara meets Josie, the two immediately form a profound connection. Josie and her mother share a strained relationship, having experienced immense grief, but Klara's innocent curiosity and unwavering loyalty gradually begin to heal the family and bring a sense of hope to Josie's complex world.
