Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY recently revealed the fourth entry in its new "SUPER MANGA POWERS" sofubi series, which focuses on vintage American comic book aesthetics. The latest "X-Men" themed release is "Cyclops (COMIC Ver.)", priced at 19,800 JPY. Pre-orders are open until June 30, 2026, 23:59 JST, with an estimated release in November 2026!
Cyclops, whose real name is Scott Summers, is the steadfast leader of the X-Men. Known for his calm, rational demeanor and strategic foresight, he possesses the mutant ability to project powerful optic blasts from his eyes. However, he cannot control them freely; they fire continuously whenever his eyes are open and only stop when closed, necessitating the use of special ruby-quartz glasses to regulate his powers.
