PLEX (株式会社プレックス) has announced a new series of merchandise based on the popular anime and manga "One Piece" – the "Devil Fruit Silicone Coin Pouches." The lineup includes three iconic Devil Fruits: the Gomu Gomu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, and Ope Ope no Mi. Each pouch is priced at 2,640 JPY and is slated for an August 2026 release!
The Gomu Gomu no Mi and Mera Mera no Mi are famously consumed by Luffy and his brother Ace, respectively. The Gomu Gomu no Mi was later revealed during the Wano Country Arc to be the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, granting Luffy exaggerated abilities beyond mere rubber. The Mera Mera no Mi was inherited by Sabo in Dressrosa, making him its new wielder. The Ope Ope no Mi, on the other hand, belongs to Trafalgar Law, the "Surgeon of Death," allowing him to create spherical "ROOMs" where he can freely perform object dissection, exchange, and spatial displacement as if he were a surgeon.
As the name suggests, these highly recognizable Devil Fruits from the series have been faithfully recreated as silicone coin pouches. Standing approximately 12 to 12.8 cm tall, the soft, squishy silicone material perfectly captures the distinctive shapes of each fruit. A zipper on the back allows for convenient storage of small essentials like coins, earphones, keys, or charging cables. Each pouch also comes with a plastic strap that can be threaded through the ring behind the stem, making them an eye-catching accessory when attached to a backpack or bag.
