TAITO Corporation's "DRESSTA" series, known for its dynamic integration of effect parts, has announced its latest product based on the classic anime "Yu Yu Hakusho": the "DRESSTA Yusuke Urameshi" scale figure. It will retail for 8,800 JPY and is slated for release in November 2026!
The classic Japanese manga "Yu Yu Hakusho" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1990 to 1994. The story follows protagonist Yusuke Urameshi, who dies in a car accident early on and unexpectedly becomes a "Spirit Detective." During his missions, he befriends the demon fox Kurama and Hiei, who came to the human world from the Demon World, and teams up with his human best friend from Sarayashiki Junior High, Kazuma Kuwabara, to solve problems involving demons in both the Demon World and the Human World, becoming formidable allies.
The "DRESSTA Yusuke Urameshi" scale figure perfectly captures Yusuke in the dynamic moment he unleashes his signature special move, the Spirit Gun. Standing approximately 20 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates Yusuke's iconic green high school uniform. The Spirit Gun effect part is crafted from clear material, not only concentrating at his fingertip but also swirling around his entire body, creating a powerful visual of converging spiritual energy. The figure comes with a rocky terrain base, complete with effects rising from his feet, giving the impression of him suspended in mid-air and conveying the intensity of a fierce battle!
