Japanese figure manufacturer Max Factory recently announced the upcoming release of "Kayoko Onikata" from the popular mobile game "Blue Archive" as the latest addition to their acclaimed figma action figure series, slated for April 2027!
Kayoko Onikata is a third-year student at Gehenna Academy and serves as the section chief of Problem Solver 68. Often misunderstood due to her intimidating appearance, she is actually a kind-hearted individual who loves cats and music. Thanks to fan creations, she's also humorously known as a "cat-petting fanatic." As one of the few students in Blue Archive confirmed to be over 18, her mature and gentle demeanor in the game's story has endeared her to many players.
The figma Kayoko Onikata stands approximately 14.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating her in-game illustration. Her iconic zebra-striped head, ear-piercings, hoodie patterns, pleated skirt plaid, single wing on her back, and even the mole on her right collarbone are all meticulously reproduced. The legs feature a rare double-jointed design, allowing for a wider range of thigh articulation. Beyond the standard toe articulation, her shoes incorporate an additional diagonal cut joint at the ankle, providing a greater angle and more natural ground contact. For the arms, a swivel joint has been added to the upper arm, allowing for more accurate recreation of her two-handed gun-wielding poses!

For accessories, she comes with interchangeable forearms that allow her to pose with her hands in her pockets, recreating her "Panic Spreader" EX Skill pose from the game. Also included is a skirt part for sitting poses, and even her wing comes with a carefully sculpted folded-up version! Her signature handgun, "Demon's Roar," can be displayed in its holstered state using an interchangeable part. Additionally, a "smartphone" and a delightful "calico cat" accessory are included. This release features a generous four interchangeable face plates: a "standard face," a "smiling face," a "combat face," and a "blushing face." Including the ones on the figure, a total of five pairs of hand parts are provided. Similar to the previously released figma Koharu Shimoe, the hand parts are designed with the sleeve ends attached!
