DC Studios and Spotify have teamed up for an all-new collaboration, launching an in-app treasure hunt activity for the upcoming "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow," starring Milly Alcock and set to hit theaters on June 26, 2026. Players must scour the Spotify platform to track down Krypto, collecting letters from his speech bubbles. Once a complete code is formed, entering it into the search bar will unlock exclusive sneak peeks of the film.
This initiative also introduces official "Supergirl" playlists, each themed around key characters: Supergirl, Lucy, and Lobo. These curated collections feature introductions or selections by Milly Alcock, Eve Ridley, and James Gunn, respectively.
Kara's playlist, for instance, includes tracks like Chappell Roan's "Hot to Go!," No Doubt's "Just a Girl," and Avril Lavigne's "Sk8er Boi." Notably, it also features Djo's viral hit "End of Beginning"—Djo being the musical moniker of Joe Keery, best known for his role as Steve Harrington in "Stranger Things."
In her video introduction, Alcock describes Kara as a character deeply driven by music, explaining that the playlist was designed to reflect her emotional journey throughout the film. Meanwhile, Lobo's playlist, personally curated by James Gunn, leans into a hardcore punk and metal aesthetic, featuring bands such as Fugazi, Danzig, and Idles, further highlighting the distinct musical personalities of the characters.
