Chinese figure manufacturer Hobby Sakura has announced the upcoming release of a new "Augusta 1/7 Scale Figure" from the open-world action RPG "Wuthering Waves." A release date has not yet been determined.
Augusta, a Resonator hailing from the Seven Hills City-State of Linarh Tower, stands as a fearless leader with an unyielding will. Despite her ordinary physique, she survived Fabiana's destruction by the Black Tide. Though a rare innate Resonator, she was notably frail in her youth. Undeterred by constant defeats in the Seven Hills Arena, she relentlessly trained and challenged herself, steadily ascending to the rank of "Champion" gladiator. She eventually became the prophesied "Hero King," destined to surpass all heroes, and the Governor who presides over the Seven Hills City-State.
Hobby Sakura has already unveiled painted prototype images of the figure. The overall sculpt faithfully recreates Augusta's in-game character illustration, capturing her regal majesty with flowing long hair and dynamic attire. White-painted clear parts are utilized to convey the texture of her fabric, while metallic-painted parts bring out the intricate details of her armor. Every engraving and embroidery pattern is meticulously reproduced. Her imposing greatsword is sculpted to appear as if formed from countless attached blades, finished with a striking gradient metallic paint application that evokes a dazzling magnetic core, shining like the sun itself.
