Good Smile Company's popular "POP UP PARADE" series, known for its affordable pre-painted figures, is set to release the highly anticipated "POP UP PARADE Aura" from the hit anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End"! This non-scale PVC figure will retail for 6,500 JPY and is slated for a December 2026 release.
In "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," Aura, one of the Demon King's Seven Sages of Destruction, is a formidable demon over 500 years old. She wields the magical artifact known as the "Scales of Obedience." By placing her own soul against an opponent's on the scales, the one with higher magical power can activate a subjugation spell, forcing the loser to obey until their body decays. To prevent any mental resistance from her controlled subjects, Aura famously decapitates all those she subjugates, forming them into her personal army, earning her the chilling moniker "The Guillotine."
The "POP UP PARADE Aura" stands approximately 17 cm tall, meticulously recreating the memorable "Scales of Obedience" scene from her confrontation with Frieren. Compared to typical prize figures, the Scales are rendered with exceptional detail, featuring translucent parts for the soul flames and intricate metallic paintwork and structural elements. Aura herself is captured with a confident, sinister smirk, completely unaware of her impending doom. Her distinctive voluminous braided hair, slender waist, and exposed back are all alluringly sculpted. Holding her signature greatsword, used for beheading her victims, the figure exudes a commanding presence!
