Good Smile Company, the Japanese manufacturer behind the popular "Nendoroid" series with over a thousand unique figures, is set to release a new addition based on the anime "Dungeon Meshi." The latest product, "Nendoroid Falin (Chimera)," will retail for 7,800 JPY (tax included) and is slated for a February 2027 release.
"Falin," the younger sister of "Dungeon Meshi" protagonist Laios, was tragically devoured by a Red Dragon while protecting her brother during a dungeon battle, leading to the complete annihilation of Laios's party. To rescue his sister, Laios embarks on a new dungeon challenge, thus beginning the tale of "Dungeon Meshi." Although absent from the story's initial events, Falin's character is pieced together through the memories of others: she is known for her gentle and kind nature, her compassion for monsters, and her habit of squinting due to poor eyesight. She also befriended Marcille during their time at magic school.
The "Nendoroid Falin (Chimera)" figure faithfully recreates her memorable Chimera form from the series in an adorable chibi style. The fluffy texture of the feathers covering her body is meticulously sculpted, while her plump body and belly, contrasted with the glossy, scaly claws of a Red Dragon, create a cool yet charming aesthetic. She comes with two face plates: a smiling expression and a dumbfounded expression. Combined with her articulated wings and interchangeable hand parts, fans can enjoy posing Falin in various charming ways!
