BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS, known for its popular S.H.Figuarts action figure line, has officially unveiled detailed information for the latest release from the "Ultraman Teo" tokusatsu series: the "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Teo" figure. This highly anticipated collectible is slated for a December 2026 release.
The 60th anniversary Ultraman series, "Ultraman Teo," is set to premiere in July. The titular hero, Ultraman Teo, originally hailed from the planet H12, a world similar to Earth. After his home was ravaged by a space monster, he fled to Earth, where he adopted the human identity of Hikariishi Ibuki, a third-year veterinary student at Meishin University, living a peaceful campus life surrounded by beloved animals. However, when the very same space monster that destroyed his home reappears to attack Earth, his resolve to protect triumphs over his traumatic memories, transforming him into the blue giant of light to fight.
The sculpt for the "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Teo" figure was thoroughly supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' design department. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this articulated figure faithfully recreates Ultraman Teo's on-screen appearance, from the soft curves of his head to the prominent angles of his "nose" and the distinctive silver-blue patterns across his body. Notably, the figure's chin appears sharper and more refined than its on-screen counterpart, and the musculature in the chest, upper arms, and thighs seems more pronounced. The figure boasts flexible articulation designed to minimize visible joint gaps, incorporating some newly patented structures. Combined with various interchangeable hand parts and a flashing red Color Timer accessory, collectors can recreate dynamic battle poses.
