German horror director Uwe Boll last week released his new vigilante action film, "Citizen Vigilante," in the United States and Canada. However, due to its sensitive subject matter, the film's distribution has so far been limited to North America.
"Citizen Vigilante" stars Armie Hammer, the "Call Me by Your Name" actor who faced a Hollywood blacklisting in recent years following multiple sexual misconduct allegations. Hammer portrays Sanders, a real estate businessman with a military background. Sanders moves to Europe to inherit his late father's real estate company there.

The plot follows Sanders, who, after moving to Europe, becomes increasingly disturbed by the violent crimes committed by local immigrants. Unable to tolerate it any longer, he takes matters into his own hands, becoming a vigilante who punishes these criminals. As Sanders' vigilante acts become more frequent, he gains significant public support. However, Interpol views his actions as a source of social unrest and launches an investigation to track him down and neutralize him.
Boll recently claimed that many European countries, including Germany and the UK, restricted the distribution of "Citizen Vigilante" due to "cultural concerns." Boll was particularly displeased with German authorities, who he said viewed the film as "inciting violence against immigrant communities." In response, Boll has now granted Elon Musk special authorization to stream the entire film for free on his official X page, though only for a 48-hour window. Musk has since uploaded the full movie (see link above), inviting interested viewers to watch.
