BANDAI's TAMASHII NATIONS collectibles division has announced a brand new product line for its non-articulated figure series, Figuarts ZERO. Kicking off the new "STARTune" series is the highly anticipated "Monkey D. Luffy - Setting Sail for the New World -" from the popular anime "One Piece," slated for release in December 2026!
The newly launched "STARTune" series aims to capture the essence of characters and their respective worlds through intricate sculpting, advanced paintwork, and dynamic effects. The inaugural release, "Monkey D. Luffy," portrays his iconic appearance two years after the time skip, as he reunites with his crew at the Sabaody Archipelago. Luffy is depicted in his signature pose with both hands raised high and a vibrant, energetic smile. The figure boasts meticulously sculpted details, from the folds of his clothing to his muscular physique. Realistic textures are further enhanced by sophisticated shading techniques applied across the entire figure. Adding another layer of detail and grandeur are the Thousand Sunny's mast and striking water splash effects positioned behind him!
Beyond this initial Luffy release, the "STARTune" line is set to expand with more beloved anime characters. Currently, teased silhouettes confirm upcoming figures for Naruto Uzumaki from "Naruto" and Son Goku from "Dragon Ball." Stay tuned for further announcements and details!
