BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, has announced its latest release from the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!": a new "Hitori Gotoh" figure, slated for release in January 2027!
"Bocchi the Rock!" follows the introverted Hitori Gotoh, who spends eight hours a day honing her guitar skills in hopes of becoming popular. Before she knows it, she's become the moderately famous online creator "Guitar Hero," but also ends her middle school life as an obscure "loner." Determined to change in high school, she unexpectedly joins a band under the nickname "Bocchi," and the everyday story revolving around the four members begins!
This new 27cm large-scale figure captures a hilarious and iconic scene from the anime's fourth episode, where Bocchi attempts self-hypnosis to become a cheerful, outgoing girl for new song inspiration, only to veer off course and transform into a full-blown party animal. The simple yet expressive lines perfectly recreate the absurd humor of the anime. This particular scene was so funny that even the animation director for that episode retweeted the product announcement!
