"Spice and Wolf" is a beloved light novel series penned by Japanese author Isuna Hasekura and illustrated by Jū Ayakura. The series first received an anime adaptation in 2008 by IMAGIN. In 2024, to commemorate the original novel's 15th anniversary, Passione produced a brand-new anime remake titled "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf." The story follows Kraft Lawrence, a traveling merchant, who unexpectedly encounters Holo, a wolf deity said to preside over bountiful harvests. Together, they embark on a journey.
