The cast for "Oceans," the upcoming "Ocean's Eleven" prequel directed by and starring Bradley Cooper alongside Margot Robbie, has reportedly added another big name. According to entertainment insider Daniel Richtman on his Patreon page, Warner Bros. Pictures is looking to cast Seth Rogen (pictured above, right) as a younger version of Reuben, the character famously played by Elliott Gould (pictured below) in the original trilogy.

In addition to Rogen, Deadline reports that Monica Barbaro, who gained prominence for her role as "Phoenix" in "Top Gun: Maverick," has officially joined the cast of "Oceans" in an undisclosed role. It was also previously reported that Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, known for his work in "Narcos" and "Civil War," is rumored to be playing the film's main antagonist.

"Oceans" is set in the 1960s, aligning with the era of the original 1960 "Ocean's 11." Robbie and Cooper are expected to portray the parents of master thieves Danny and Debbie Ocean, the central protagonists played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock in the previous four films. Carrie Solomon, the screenwriter behind the Netflix romantic comedy "A Family Affair," is penning the latest draft of the script. The film is slated for a June 25, 2027 release in North America.
