Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced the latest addition to its original model kit series, "Megalo Maria," with the upcoming release of the "Emulator Riding Package" in December 2026.
The Emulator is a highly popular "ANOTHER" character within the "Megalo Maria" series. Unlike other ANOTHER units, which feature inorganic, mechanical designs, the Emulator possesses the ability to mimic "TRIGGER" (human) forms. Its entire body armor is covered in artificial skin resembling human flesh, and its facial features bear a striking resemblance to the protagonist, Kagari Maria.
This unique characteristic allows the Emulator to project different auras simply by changing its colors or hairstyle. This new "Emulator Riding Package" not only features a movable body with new gray and black molding colors, reminiscent of a racing suit, but also includes the same ponytail hairstyle as the "Club Manager" and the same dark pink molding color as "Kisaragi Yue." The face parts incorporate a movable eyeball mechanism, allowing you to freely adjust the gaze of both eyes using the included tool. Furthermore, the eyeball parts feature a new blue-green paint application with UV printing, giving them a glossy, glass-like appearance.
The highly articulated body boasts an elegant, human-like physique with over 50 points of articulation. It features single-axis knee joints that allow for deep bends, independently movable knee armor, pull-out shoulder joints with multiple axes, independently movable hip joints, and hands that can bend inward nearly 180 degrees. The distinctive hip armor design also offers two options: "independently movable" or "integrated." This allows for a wide range of poses, from everyday scenes to flexible and powerful stunt poses seen in action films.
Accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, two large handguns, a full-face helmet, and an "Extreme Sports Motorcycle" molded in a deep red color. Beyond its cool silhouette, the motorcycle features intricate mechanical details such as headlights, wiring, and a suspension system. The handlebars can turn, allowing the front wheel to change direction, and the tire parts can be manually rotated. The rear of the bike also has a deployable footpeg mechanism. When combined with the Emulator figure, you can recreate dynamic and stylish riding scenes.
