Following the release of DC Studios' "Supergirl" film, screenwriter Ana Nogueira has emerged as a key creative force for upcoming DCU projects. In addition to penning "Teen Titans," she recently took on the script for the new "Wonder Woman" film. However, in a recent interview with Variety, Nogueira revealed that both projects are still in their very early stages of development. 
"They're both very early, and at different stages," she stated. "These are incredible characters, and I can't believe I get to approach Kara and 'Supergirl' in this way, to think about how to tackle these characters. But both are still in very early stages."
When asked about taking on two major DC projects simultaneously, Nogueira admitted the pressure was significant. "It's a huge validation, a massive vote of confidence," she confessed. "Honestly, it's incredibly overwhelming. I can't even think about the scale of it. I just try to keep my head down and do the work, making sure I love what I'm doing and that I believe it's good work."
Nogueira also emphasized that she cannot write merely to complete a task. She explained, "I can't write something I don't love, something I don't understand. So, the immense pressure of it all is something I try my best not to think about, and instead focus on the script."
She also recounted the process of bringing Lobo into the DCU for "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow," noting that it was an idea proposed by James Gunn and Peter Safran. "We want to do 'Woman of Tomorrow,' and we want you to figure out a way to put Lobo in there. We think Lobo has a place here," she quoted them as saying.
Currently, neither "Teen Titans" nor "Wonder Woman" have announced release dates.
