The Cosmic Circus, a website frequently breaking exclusive news on Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, recently unveiled new intel. Regarding the "Doctor Strange" series, there has been little concrete planning for a third installment since the release of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." The Cosmic Circus now reports that Marvel Studios has indeed temporarily shelved the project.

The outlet also noted that Marvel's current major development priorities include "Black Panther 3," "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 2," "Spider-Man 5," the "X-Men" reboot, a "Thunderbolts" sequel, the "Blade" reboot, and a "Midnight Sons" film.
The inclusion of a "Thunderbolts" sequel and a new "Blade" film might come as a surprise to many, given the former's lukewarm box office performance and the latter's persistent rumors of cancellation. However, it appears Marvel may not have entirely given up on these projects.
