Bandai Spirits, a division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has unveiled the latest addition to its "POKEMON CHANGE" transforming toy series: the "Charmander / Charizard" set. This exciting new release is priced at 2,420 JPY and is slated for release on July 25, 2026!
The "POKEMON CHANGE" series offers fans a unique way to experience the iconic Pokémon evolution. Each figure features clever transformation mechanisms with expandable and adjustable joints, along with internal parts, allowing Pokémon to repeatedly transform between their pre-evolution and evolved forms. This innovative design combines collectibility, playability, and the thrilling fun of evolution, faithfully recreating classic transformation scenes from the anime and games while preserving each Pokémon's original design.
The "POKEMON CHANGE Charmander / Charizard" set perfectly captures the adorable, rounded appearance of Charmander. The transformation begins by simply opening its outer shell. Then, by unfolding and attaching the hidden internal wings, Charmander evolves into the cool and powerful Charizard! Both forms boast a high degree of accuracy and detail, making the surprising and enjoyable transformation a major highlight of this figure.
