Following the release of Dragon Ma, BANDAI SPIRITS' Tamashii Nations collectible toy division is expanding its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series with a highly anticipated new addition from the classic Hong Kong film "Project A": the S.H.Figuarts Choi Yat-fei (Project A). This figure is priced at 12,100 JPY and is slated for release in February 2027!
"Project A" is a legendary Hong Kong action film directed by and starring Jackie Chan, alongside martial arts legends Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao. Set in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican era, the story follows the rampant piracy that plagues merchant ships, with pirate leader Lo San-pao colluding with corrupt merchant Chou Wing-ling, severely impacting international trade. To eradicate the pirates, former Marine Police officer Dragon Ma (played by Jackie Chan) devises "Project A." He teams up with his old friend Choi Yat-fei (played by Sammo Hung) and superior officer Captain Hong (played by Yuen Biao) to infiltrate the pirate stronghold in a thrilling mission.
Relive Sammo Hung's incredible agility! The "S.H.Figuarts Choi Yat-fei (Project A)" action figure stands approximately 145mm tall, meticulously capturing Sammo Hung's signature comedic bowl cut from the film, along with his iconic black vest, white shirt, and vintage black and white leather shoes. Thanks to the S.H.Figuarts' advanced articulation, fans can perfectly recreate dynamic poses, from powerful stances and punches to high-flying kicks! The head sculpt utilizes Tamashii Nations' acclaimed "Tamashii Nations Digital Coloring" technology, bringing Sammo Hung's skin texture, facial shadows, and vivid expressions to life with stunning realism!
In terms of accessories, the figure comes with multiple interchangeable hand parts and a variety of expressive face plates. It also includes the "wooden chair leg" that Choi Yat-fei and Dragon Ma famously wielded to beat down enemies during the chaotic bar brawl scene, allowing collectors to recreate that classic tag-team showdown!
