Good Smile Company (GSC) has announced pre-orders for a 1/7 scale pre-painted figure of "Elaina," the protagonist from "The Journey of Elaina." Pre-orders are open from June 30 to September 2, 2026, with an estimated release in September 2027. The Japanese retail price is JPY 27,000 (tax included).
"The Journey of Elaina" is a light novel series penned by Jougi Shiraishi with illustrations by Azure. The story follows Elaina, a prodigious young girl who, at just 15, achieves the highest rank of magic user, earning her the title of "Witch." Characterized by her long gray hair and iconic witch's hat, Elaina embarks on an endless journey, driven by her curiosity for travel, encountering diverse people and leaving behind memorable tales wherever she goes.
This new figure sculpt is based on an original illustration by Azure, specially drawn for this product. Elaina is captured in a light, elegant standing pose with a gentle smile, meticulously showcasing her unique graceful demeanor. A major highlight is the exquisite recreation of the subtle purple lining beneath her cloak—within the predominantly black outfit, the purple and bluish tones shift with viewing angles, creating rich layers of color. This faithfully reproduces one of the most striking color characteristics from Azure's original artwork.
