Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse has announced the latest addition to its "G.M.G. (Gundam Military Generation)" articulated soldier figure series from "Mobile Suit Gundam": the "G.M.G. COLLECTION 16 Earth Federation Forces Amuro Ray Uniform Ver.", slated for release in December 2026.
The "G.M.G." series features highly articulated "Mobile Suit Gundam" soldier figures, standing approximately 10 cm tall. The lineup includes not only generic military personnel but also popular, named characters like Amuro, Char, and Sayla. Each figure boasts extensive articulation from head, arms, and torso to legs, along with a wealth of military gear, weapons, and even personal effects like rations and magazines, allowing collectors to recreate various battlefield scenarios.
The "G.M.G. COLLECTION 16 Earth Federation Forces Amuro Ray Uniform Ver." utilizes new sculpts to faithfully reproduce the Earth Federation Forces uniform, a design not previously released in the series. The figure's paint application meticulously captures details such as pockets, cuffs, zippers, and the belt. Its highly articulated design, featuring precise joint cuts and multi-axis joints, combined with soft material for the uniform's hem, ensures dynamic poseability. Accessories include a pistol, multiple interchangeable hand parts, and the wooden doll and backpack that appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam" Episode 13, "Reunion with Mother...". These accessories enable collectors to recreate the poignant scene where Amuro resolves to join the war and bids farewell to his mother.
