Japan's Medicos Entertainment has officially unveiled a new addition to their popular Super Action Statue Art Collection: the "Johnny Joestar & Slow Dancer" pre-painted statue from the anime "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run." This highly anticipated collectible has an MSRP of 28,600 JPY and is slated for release in December 2026.
"Steel Ball Run" tells the story of Johnny Joestar, a former genius jockey who became paralyzed from the waist down after an accident. On the eve of the "SBR" cross-continental horse race organized by Stephen Steel, Johnny encounters Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious individual wielding "Steel Balls" with a unique spinning technique. Discovering that Gyro's ability can make his legs react, Johnny decides to enter the race, embarking on an epic adventure across America.
The "Johnny Joestar & Slow Dancer" statue stands approximately 30 cm tall and measures about 35 cm wide. The sculpt masterfully captures the dynamic pose of Johnny, whose legs are paralyzed, resting his leg over Slow Dancer's back while riding. Every detail, from the horse's muscular legs and flowing mane to Johnny's determined posture, is meticulously reproduced. The paint application exquisitely renders Slow Dancer's gray and white coat patterns and the intricate design of Johnny's attire. Even the base, featuring realistic rocks and dust, is expertly colored with realistic shading and airbrushing to enhance depth and contrast, powerfully conveying Johnny's unwavering resolve as he presses forward. This piece will undoubtedly make a perfect companion to the previously revealed "Gyro Zeppeli & Valkyrie"!
▼Pre-ordering directly from the official website will also include bonus interchangeable facial expressions and spinning hand parts, offering even more display options!
