FEXT HOBBY x ACID RAIN NOVARK WAVE 2.0 OSTRIX Triple-Changer Figure Revealed in Three New Colorways

"Acid Rain: Entropy Ark" Story Synopsis

The Black Soil Continent is a forbidden zone in the Acid Rain World, known as the most "natural and harmonious." After fanatical cultists of the Gani Holy Order stole Babel Technology for "purification," it has been largely uninhabited for decades. Unknown interference renders all detectors useless, ships struggle to approach, and information is cut off from the outside world.

Various factions, both large and small, have dispatched fleets to land there. However, either the ships and their crews mysteriously vanished, or the survivors returned inexplicably demented, dying shortly thereafter. Multiple unknown elements were detected in the survivors, and even a strange substance capable of growing within the human body post-mortem was discovered. These mysterious allurements have stirred the ambitions of major powers, with New Atlantis, one of the three logistics giants, being the most proactive. For them, the Black Soil Continent represents the ideal transit point on their Far East shipping routes. Conquering it would not only yield exponential profit growth but also allow them to seize the initiative and curb the expansion of their rival, Pacific Storage & Transport. Furthermore, the newly discovered substances could potentially become critical resources in the future. The Black Soil Continent also houses a Babel Technology research institute; recovering its advanced equipment and data could lead to significant technological breakthroughs for New Atlantis.

Consequently, New Atlantis initiated the "Entropy Ark" project. Using shipping berths and shared development results as bait, they invited allies to deploy elites and coerced desperadoes into joining, forming a fleet to explore and develop the continent. Simultaneously, they publicly recruited volunteers to shed their past lives and identities, becoming experimental subjects, "boat people," and the first wave of future "new immigrants."

Ostrix OT-3l

The Ostrix OT-3 is the inaugural product of New Atlantis's latest individual weapon platform, "O.R.I.C." It's a bipedal combat vehicle designed for infantry and mecha collaborative operations. Its core features a cutting-edge "Surround Guardian System" that allows a pilot to operate it synchronously or cooperatively after separation. Once the Ostrix is linked with its pilot, even when operating independently, it functions like a professionally trained military hound, capable of executing basic commands such as "standby," "follow," "suppress," and "cover." In extreme environments facing unknown threats, the pilot can order it to switch to "Tactical Decoy" mode, sending it ahead into minefields or high-threat zones to draw enemy fire.

The FEXT HOBBY 1:12 Novark series' first vehicle, the Ostrix, is a bipedal unit designed for single-person operation. Through interchangeable parts, it can transform into a self-propelled turret robot or a manually operated fixed gun emplacement, offering a wide range of playability. As a vehicle, its seat features C-clips, allowing most commercially available 1/12 scale figures to ride it. Although its structure appears simple, each of the Ostrix's legs boasts eight geared joints, producing satisfying "click-clack" sounds with every twist, providing a solid and enjoyable tactile experience, and ensuring stable posing. It comes equipped with an eight-barreled Vulcan cannon, which also features multiple configurations: single-handed, two-handed, and compatible with small drum magazines or large drum magazines with ammo belts—ensuring a fitting look for any scenario. FEXT HOBBY is releasing three color variations this time: the olive green Marine Team, the gray-blue Buck, and the dark red Lantern.

For this price point, the quality is truly exceptional, elevating the Acid Rain military-style series to another level! Fans of Acid Rain or modern military aesthetics absolutely shouldn't miss out! The combination of price, quality, and the collectible value of this collaboration is simply irresistible!
