A First-Ever Cross-Generational Gathering! Holy Distillery's Craftsmanship Meets Four Classic Rider Spirits in an Exclusive "Transformation Belt" Immersive Luxury Box Set, a Tribute to Adult Fans.
From its passionate Showa-era beginnings to the new Reiwa generation, the "Kamen Rider" series has accompanied countless fans for over half a century, becoming a timeless symbol of heroism. To grandly commemorate Kamen Rider's 55th anniversary, Playful Workshop has announced the launch of an all-new "Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Commemorative Blended Whisky" collaboration. This special project partners with local craft brewing pioneer "Holy Distillery," combining their exquisite artisanal distilling techniques with the classic Rider spirit to create a groundbreaking, tasteful masterpiece that offers visual impact, emotional resonance, and immense collector value.
Four Classic Riders Unite Across Generations, Transformed into Liquid Gold in a Bottle
This commemorative whisky collection uses Holy Distillery's selected high-grade blended whisky as its base. Its mellow and rich flavor profile perfectly mirrors the resilient spirit of the Riders, forged through years of trials. The series features four highly iconic Kamen Riders from Tokusatsu history, with each character's essence seamlessly integrated into the bottle label design.
The first wave, available for limited-time pre-order starting July 8th (Wednesday) at FamilyMart convenience stores, includes: "Kamen Rider 1," symbolizing the original forging and an immortal classic; and "Kamen Rider Kuuga," the pioneer who ushered in the new Heisei era, embodying the fearless courage to break new ground.
The second wave, featuring "Kamen Rider Blade" and "Kamen Rider Faiz," is slated for an official launch in August (please stay tuned to official announcements for exact dates and retailers).
Beyond the exquisite character labels, what will truly astonish collectors and fans is that the entire series' outer packaging is designed around the core essence of Kamen Rider – the "Transformation Belt." Playful Workshop has shattered traditional packaging norms, meticulously crafting a visual and character-linked design that recreates an immersive, impactful "complete transformation" experience from the moment a collector picks up the box, opens it, and slowly retrieves the bottle. For many fans, the Transformation Belt is more than just a prop; it's an emblem of heroic dreams and youthful memories. This product transforms that passionate sentiment into a sophisticated, collectible adult-oriented commemorative item to be savored.
Designed for Collectible Display and Future Expansion: The Ultimate Romance for Adults
Playful Workshop states that each of the four designs visually echoes the Rider styles of different eras, from the heroic epic feel of Showa to the dramatic tension of Heisei Riders and the strong technological aesthetic of the Faiz worldview. All are fully realized through metallic-textured labels and intricate outer box details. This 55th-anniversary series is just the beginning of a legend; Playful Workshop plans to continue "connecting more Riders," progressively launching more comprehensive and valuable "Kamen Rider" 55th-anniversary collector's projects and limited-edition gift sets, ensuring that fans of all generations can find their own hero.
When ultimate Tokusatsu passion meets high-end whisky collecting, the "Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Commemorative Blended Whisky" transcends being a mere product; it becomes a coming-of-age tribute for all Rider fans. For those who grew up watching the Riders, pouring a glass of amber liquid in the quiet of the night might just be the "best interpretation of transformation" for a mature adult.
