Bandai Co., Ltd. has announced its latest release in the "GODZIBURST" series, which features an all-star crossover battle of Toho monsters like Godzilla. The new product, "Armored Mothra Eternal," is slated for an August 2026 release.
In the 1998 film "Rebirth of Mothra III," Neo Mothra traveled back in time to the Cretaceous period to decisively defeat King Ghidorah's younger form, who was attacking Earth. However, the immense effort drained Mothra's energy, leaving it on the brink of death. Fortunately, the suddenly appearing "Primitive Mothras" created a protective cocoon, allowing Mothra to heal and evolve within it for 130 million years. Finally, in the modern era, Mothra revived in its "Armored Mothra" form. In this state, its entire body is covered in extremely hard armor, capable of completely defending against all of Ghidorah's attacks. Its wings can also be used as sharp blades, while possessing enhanced laser and impact attacks. After shedding its armor, it transforms into its non-combat form, "Armored Mothra Eternal."
The "GODZIBURST Armored Mothra Eternal" continues the signature features of the Mothra figures in the same series, showcasing the magnificent patterns on its wings with rich colors and gradient paintwork. Additionally, the figure includes a set of silver-painted armor parts. By attaching these to the head, body, and wings of the Eternal form, collectors can recreate the impressive "Armored Mothra" form!
