Bandai's Gashapon division is set to release a new collaboration with popular Korean artist YEYE: the "YEYE MOONGE Figures" capsule toy series. Each capsule will retail for 400 JPY, with an anticipated launch in late October 2026!
Korean illustrator YEYE has captivated a massive fanbase with her charming artworks, all inspired by her beloved dog, Moonge (뭉게). Her distinctive style, characterized by fluffy white fur and endearing droopy round eyes, eschews rigid lines to convey a free-spirited and casual attitude. For this "YEYE MOONGE Figures" collection, four dynamic poses of Moonge, originally featured in an Instagram post that garnered over 450,000 likes, have been meticulously sculpted into three-dimensional form. The series includes four adorable variations: sitting, surprised, fluffed up, and wind-blown. Standing approximately 3.5 to 4 cm tall, these figures perfectly capture Moonge's cute expressions and poses in a simple yet striking black and white palette. They're incredibly therapeutic and a must-have for any collector!
