Since its founding in 1946, Nikken Hamono has been crafting high-quality cutlery, primarily scissors and letter openers, in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture—Japan's renowned "City of Blades." In recent years, the company has expanded its offerings to include various stylish and practical scissors and dental tools, consistently providing the public with a rich selection of refined artisanal products.
Following the previous release of Zoro's "Enma," it's now Red-Haired Shanks' beloved sword, "Griffon," that gets the letter opener treatment! The Griffon Letter Opener measures approximately 21.5 cm in total length. Its blade is crafted from stainless steel cutlery, while the handle is made from ABS plastic. Every detail, from the blade's hamon pattern and the tsuba's (handguard's) contours to the scabbard's shape, has been meticulously researched and faithfully reproduced from its in-series appearance. Each letter opener is individually hand-sharpened by skilled artisans in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, promising collectors an incredibly smooth letter-opening experience. Furthermore, a dedicated display stand is included, allowing for a perfect presentation when not in use!
