KADOKAWA's figure brand, KDcolle, is releasing a new item based on the popular light novel series "Shakugan no Shana": a "Shana (Original Version)" non-scale pre-painted figure. Priced at 12,100 JPY, the figure is slated for release in February 2027.
"Shakugan no Shana" is a Japanese light novel series written by Yashichiro Takahashi and illustrated by Noizi Ito. It was adapted into a TV anime by J.C.STAFF in 2005. The story follows ordinary high school student Yuji Sakai, who is rescued by Shana, a Flame Haze girl wielding a greatsword and possessing fiery red eyes and hair, after being attacked by otherworldly monsters known as Denizens. Yuji is subsequently drawn into a fantastical adventure, a blend of battles and everyday life, as they protect the world's existence.
This non-scale pre-painted figure brings to life Shana as depicted in Noizi Ito's cover illustration for "Shakugan no Shana S III." Standing approximately 15.5 cm tall, the sculpt beautifully captures the dynamic flow of her sailor uniform and hair. The paintwork meticulously details shading and accessories, with her radiant, fiery red hair rendered in a special pearlescent finish. Her signature greatsword, Nietono no Shana, and the Cocytus necklace on her chest are also faithfully reproduced with intricate detail, perfectly translating the powerful charm of the original cover art!
