Hong Kong-based model kit manufacturer YOLOPARK is set to release the latest addition to its high-quality "AMK PRO" series, featuring die-cast and pre-painted plastic parts: Ironhide from the live-action film "Transformers (2007)"! This new model kit is slated for an August 2026 release.
Ironhide is an incredibly important Autobot character in the Transformers franchise. In the live-action movie series, he served as Optimus Prime's trusted weapons specialist and second-in-command, participating in numerous iconic battle scenes. His agonizing death at the hands of the treacherous Sentinel Prime in the third film, dissolving into rust, remains a painful memory for many fans.
Standing approximately 18 cm tall, the "AMK PRO Ironhide" maintains the series' signature easy assembly experience. It faithfully recreates Ironhide's imposing, bulky appearance from the film, complete with his iconic V-shaped chest armor, exposed pipes, gears, and fragmented outer plating, all featuring meticulously detailed paint weathering. By foregoing a transformation gimmick, the kit achieves superior articulation and sculpting. Its outer armor and internal frame are crafted using die-cast parts, perfectly capturing the metallic texture seen on screen. Both the head and his twin cannons feature magnetic LED light-up functions; once batteries are installed, fans can recreate his in-movie glowing effects. The two heavy cannons even replicate the distinct orange and blue light colors from the film.
