Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest installment in their "Ultraman" themed Shokugan line, "CONVERGE MOTION ULTRAMAN 15," slated for release in December 2026.
The "CONVERGE MOTION ULTRAMAN" series features a stylized, super-deformed proportion for its Ultraman and monster characters. Unlike the static poses of the previous CONVERGE ULTRAMAN line, this series captures more dynamic moments, recreating iconic transformation scenes, battle stances, and even powerful special moves from the Ultraman series, further highlighting each character's unique appeal.
This latest 15th wave will feature four Ultraman heroes: Ultraman Dio, Ultraman (A Type), Ultraman Seven (1973 Ver.), and Ultraman Leo, alongside four iconic monsters: Bemular, Giras, Alien Emperial, and Black Giras. Each character is meticulously sculpted at an approximate height of 5.5 cm, faithfully reproducing their signature poses and color schemes. Notably, Ultraman (A Type) recreates the asymmetrical head sculpt of the original "A Type" suit, complete with its handmade texture, while Giras can even be displayed with its scarf torn off by Ultraman.

Among the lineup, "Ultraman Dio" is the protagonist of "Ultraman Dio," the 60th-anniversary commemorative work for the "Ultraman" franchise. Originally from the Earth-like planet "H12," he lost his home to an attack by cosmic monsters and fled alone to Earth. He then assumed the identity of "Ibuki Mitsuishi," a third-year veterinary student at Meishin University, living a peaceful campus life with his beloved animals. One day, the same cosmic monsters that destroyed his home planet reappeared to attack Earth. His determination to protect overcame his traumatic memories, transforming him into a blue giant of light to fight.
