Chinese model brand X-PLAY has announced a new 1/12 scale pre-assembled model of the Ben Affleck Batmobile, as seen in the films "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League." Pre-orders are now open for 850 Chinese Yuan, with an estimated release in September 2026.
The Ben Affleck Batmobile stands as one of the most iconic vehicles in the DC Extended Universe. Its design centers on a heavily armored, robust chassis, blending a military-mechanical aesthetic with Batman's signature dark style. It made a stunning debut in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," captivating fans, and left a lasting impression with its subsequent appearance in "Justice League."
X-PLAY has meticulously brought this classic vehicle to life in 1/12 scale, packed with impressive craftsmanship. The body features a fully painted roll cage design, replicating the structure of a real racing roll cage, complete with a metallic finish. A multi-layered, hand-applied dry-brush weathering technique authentically reproduces battle-worn marks and metallic abrasion textures. All vehicle markings are precisely rendered using high-definition waterslide decals.
In terms of functionality, the model includes two sets of exterior components, allowing collectors to seamlessly switch between its "Batman v Superman" and "Justice League" appearances via magnetic attachment. The cockpit door is openable, the steering wheel articulates with the front wheels, and the heavy-duty spring suspension chassis is fully replicated. For lighting, multiple LED light-up units are standard, complete with a dedicated "Bat-Logo magnetic switch" that activates the lights with a simple swipe.
For its weapon systems, the model comes equipped with a turret, a front missile launcher, two Gatling guns, two missile launchers, and a grappling hook, offering a comprehensive array of firepower.
