Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division has unveiled the latest addition to its "High Grade Real Figure (HG)" miniature character model series, featuring characters from the popular Tokusatsu series "Ultraman." The new "Ultraman 60th Anniversary Edition" is scheduled for release in late October 2026 and will be available via GASHAPON ONLINE.
The "Ultraman 60th Anniversary Edition" features a total of four highly detailed figures. This lineup includes the newly introduced "Ultraman Zero Universe Ascendant Form," Zero's long-time rival "Ultraman Belial," and from the original "Ultraman" series, "Ultraman (Type A Face)" and the monster "Jirahs." Ultraman Zero Universe Ascendant Form serves as the 60th Anniversary commemorative form, showcasing a fiery red color scheme and armor reminiscent of the New Generation Ultraman series, giving him a distinct aura compared to his past appearances. Ultraman Belial's full-body red lines are sculpted with grooves to clearly differentiate them from the black sections. Beyond his iconic pose, the original Ultraman's biggest highlight is the faithful recreation of his "Type A Face" sculpt, often nicknamed the "Sulfur Face" by fans. Jirahs even comes with a bloodied neck sculpt, depicting the moment its frill is torn off! Each figure is truly packed with unique details!
