The LEGO Pokémon series is set to launch a brand-new set, "72160 Arcanine," on August 1, 2026. This impressive build will retail for $109.99 and consists of 1,190 pieces.

Arcanine, a beloved Fire-type Legendary Pokémon, has captivated players since the first generation of the Pokémon series, holding Pokédex number 059. Known for its majestic roar and incredibly swift, flying-like running style, Arcanine has been admired for its beauty since ancient times, making it one of the most recognizable and popular Pokémon in the franchise.

This rendition of Arcanine captures its magnificent stature with 1,190 bricks, making it the largest piece count among the three Pokémon sets in this wave. As seen from the packaging art, Arcanine is primarily constructed with orange, tan, and black elements. Its fluffy mane and tail are brought to life through layered brick techniques, while the head, ears, and legs are all articulated. Printed parts are utilized to faithfully recreate its eye and nose details.

Also debuting in the same wave are 72150 Munchlax (757 pieces / $69.99) and 72168 Rayquaza (1,083 pieces / $129.99).

Following in October, collectors can look forward to the "72154 Poké Ball Arena Playset" (2,343 pieces / $299.99) and "40868 Upscaled Red Figure" (930 pieces / $79.99). These five sets collectively form the complete LEGO Pokémon lineup for the second half of 2026.
