The LEGO Pokémon series is set to release the "40868 Up-Scaled Red Minifigure," scheduled for an October 2026 launch at $79.99, comprising 930 pieces.

The "Up-Scaled Minifigure" is a beloved LEGO series that recreates the look of a standard LEGO minifigure at more than six times its original size, transforming the figure itself into an impressive display model. Previous releases include the "40649 Up-Scaled Minifigure" (2023) and the "40819 Up-Scaled Race Car Driver Minifigure." This latest entry features Red, the iconic trainer from the Pokémon series, marking the first Up-Scaled Minifigure in the LEGO Pokémon lineup and a special part of Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebration.

Red, the male protagonist of the first-generation Pokémon games "Pokémon Red and Green," is instantly recognizable to fans for his signature red cap and blue jeans. He's also known as a trainer of legendary strength within the series, famously appearing as the final boss atop Mt. Silver in "Pokémon Gold and Silver." This Up-Scaled Minifigure faithfully recreates his iconic red-capped look. Notably, a standard-sized Red minifigure will be an exclusive accessory included with the "72154 Poké Ball Display Set," making this Up-Scaled figure and the Poké Ball set a perfect complementary display duo.

Releasing in the same month, the "72154 Poké Ball Display Set" includes a standard-sized Red minifigure. Displaying both the large and small versions together perfectly recreates the classic scene of a trainer embarking on their journey. Additionally, the "72150 Snorlax" (757 pieces / $69.99), "72160 Arcanine" (1,190 pieces / $109.99), and "72168 Rayquaza" (1,083 pieces / $129.99) will debut in August. These five sets collectively form the complete LEGO Pokémon collection for the latter half of 2026.
