Bandai Spirits has officially announced the latest release from the tokusatsu series "Ultraman Teo": the "Awakening Transformation! DX Petit Kaiju Pucchi," slated for release on July 18, 2026.
Petit Kaiju Pucchi is the small kaiju encountered by the series protagonist, Ibuki Mitsuishi/Ultraman Teo, in the mountains near Meishin University. After finding Pucchi injured, Ibuki hid him within the astronomy club for care. Pucchi possesses a pure, innocent personality and is very friendly towards humans, with a particular fondness for donuts. He quickly became a beloved member of the club once discovered by the other students. Beyond his charming demeanor, Pucchi holds a unique ability: he can connect with others' emotions and grow to a massive size, transforming into a powerful kaiju approximately 60 meters tall.
The "Awakening Transformation! DX Petit Kaiju Pucchi" is a versatile transforming toy designed to perfectly capture both of Pucchi's distinct forms. The small kaiju form is meticulously recreated with detailed sculpting and vibrant colors, showcasing his adorable, round appearance. Through a combination of simple transformation mechanisms and some interchangeable parts, collectors can easily convert Pucchi into his giant form, which boasts 19 points of articulation, allowing for a range of dynamic battle poses.
