TAKARA TOMY's high-end toy brand T-SPARK has announced the latest addition to its robot-themed completed toy series, "TOYRISE." The "Choryujin" from the anime "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar" is scheduled for release in January 2027.
Choryujin is the combined form achieved when the twin Brave Robots, Hyoryu and Enryu, members of the GGG Mobile Unit, achieve a mental synchronization rate of over 90% and perform a "Symmetrical Docking." It boasts performance comparable to GaoGaiGar, fusing the personalities and abilities of both Hyoryu and Enryu. Choryujin can simultaneously fire high-temperature and low-temperature energy blasts from the cannons mounted on its arms and sides. Furthermore, it can equip its specialized Million-Ton Tool, the "Eraser Head," to neutralize energy generated by explosions or force fields, making it invaluable for disaster relief or assisting GaoGaiGar in combat.
The "TOYRISE Choryujin" set includes both Hyoryu and Enryu units along with various weapon accessories. Reimagined with the TOYRISE toy aesthetic, both units feature transformation mechanisms that allow for robot mode, vehicle mode, and combined mode without any leftover parts. Continuing the TOYRISE series' signature feature, all weapons and accessories utilize a common 5mm peg-and-hole connection system, allowing for flexible attachment points and even customization with separately sold weapons from other figures in the series.
In their crane and fire truck forms, Hyoryu and Enryu feature rolling wheels for smooth movement, and their respective crane arm and ladder sections are extendable. Upon transforming into robot mode, each unit boasts articulation throughout its body. Their signature weapons, the "Freezing Gun" and "Melting Gun," can be stored in their legs. The "Freezing Rifle" and "Melting Rifle," formed from the crane arm and ladder respectively, feature articulated handles for more natural weapon-holding poses. Additionally, their chest armor can open, allowing for the recreation of their special attacks, "Freezing Breath" and "Melting Breath."
Thanks to intricate transformation mechanisms, both units can combine without leftover parts into the approximately 15cm tall "Choryujin." While achieving both a cool design and perfect transformation, the figure also incorporates features like articulated shoulder tire sections and original hip joints to expand the range of motion for its limbs. The crane arm and ladder parts can be equipped on its hands as staves, or mounted on its waist and deployed to recreate its firing mode. The set also includes special armaments such as two "Pencil Launchers" and the infinitely extendable Million-Ton Tool, "Eraser Head," further enhancing playability across all modes.
