Good Smile Company's MECHA SMILE brand has announced the release of two new BRICKROID Angels and a dedicated base set from "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance." Pre-orders open on July 7, 2026, and will close on August 19, 2026. The two Angel figures are slated for a December 2026 release, while the base set is expected to ship earlier in November 2026.
BRICKROID Fourth Angel (2,200 JPY)
The Fourth Angel, which first appeared in "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone," was the direct catalyst for Shinji Ikari's first deployment in EVA-01—its attack set everything in motion. Without the Fourth Angel, the subsequent events would never have unfolded. This BRICKROID figure captures the Angel that changed Shinji's destiny, rendered in the series' signature block-style deformed aesthetic.
BRICKROID Tenth Angel (2,500 JPY)
The Tenth Angel, Zeruel, brought despair to everyone in "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance." Its A.T. Field was so powerful that even EVA-02's Beast Mode 2nd Form couldn't inflict any damage, and EVA-00's self-destruct attack with an N2 Missile failed to faze it. It devoured EVA-00, gaining access to Terminal Dogma, and this act ignited Shinji's rage and the awakening of EVA-01—marking the most critical turning point in "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance."
BRICKROID Building A + Base Plate Set (1,350 JPY)
This display base set, specifically designed for the BRICKROID series, includes six building blocks (approximately 3cm tall each) and one base plate (13.5cm × 12cm). It allows collectors to neatly arrange all BRICKROID figures, including EVAs and Angels, within a single scene, creating their own custom Tokyo-3 display.
Additionally, four other BRICKROID EVA units are also available for pre-order: "EVA-01 Awakening Ver." (2,000 JPY), "EVA-00' (Kai) "Evangelion: 2.0" Ver." (2,200 JPY), "EVA-02 Beast Mode 2nd Form" (2,500 JPY), and "Mark.06" (2,200 JPY). Display them alongside this new base set to recreate the most impactful battle scenes from "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance."
