World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys has unveiled a new collectible figure based on the film "The Avengers" – the "Iron Man Mark VII (Exo-Chrome Clear Version)" 1/6th scale collectible figure. Priced at HK$2,780, this Hot Toys exclusive will be available as a limited release of 400 units at the Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2026, held at Hall 1 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 24-28, 2026. An additional 2,500 units will be available in select global markets!
The Mark VII is the iconic Iron Man suit Tony Stark famously deployed during the Battle of New York in "The Avengers." When Loki threw him from Stark Tower, Tony activated the armor mid-fall using wristband sensors, completing the emergency donning process. Building upon the Mark VI, this armor features significant firepower upgrades, including the return of the classic circular Arc Reactor on the chest. It also boasts boldly integrated external jet thrusters and high-capacity micro-missile pods on the back and shoulders, substantially enhancing its aerial combat capabilities and endurance.
This "Exo-Chrome Clear Version" of the Mark VII appears to utilize the previously released Mark VII sculpt. Crafted with die-cast metal, the figure meticulously recreates the suit's intricate details. Its outer shell is now composed of translucent red and gold armor parts, allowing collectors to glimpse the electroplated exoskeleton mechanical structure beneath. This unique visual effect sets it apart from previous iterations.
The forearm and shoulder armor are interchangeable, allowing for seamless transitions between regular and missile-firing modes. LED light-up functions are incorporated into the eyes, the circular Arc Reactor on the chest, and the palms. For the thigh sections, both electroplated gold and translucent parts are included, offering customization options. Accessories feature translucent pink laser effect parts, multiple interchangeable hands, a specialized display base, and a backdrop panel adorned with "The Avengers" classic logo, all designed to perfectly showcase the powerful allure of this Exo-Chrome Clear Version.
