Chinese toy manufacturer 52TOYS' action figure brand, FigLite, is releasing a new product based on the film "Prometheus" – the "Pressure-Suit Engineer." This highly anticipated figure will retail for 299 RMB and is expected to ship in Q4 2026!
Released in 2012, "Prometheus" serves as a prequel to the "Alien" franchise. The film follows scientist Elizabeth Shaw and her team at the end of the 21st century as they journey to an unknown planet, guided by a star map, in search of the "Engineers," humanity's creators. However, their exploration of ancient ruins inadvertently awakens a deadly bioweapon, the "Black Goo," unleashing a nightmare that uncovers the true cost of humanity's origins.
This new Pressure-Suit Engineer figure brings to life the Engineer awakened from stasis at the film's climax. Standing approximately 22.5 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates the character's imposing physique. The sculpt intricately captures the pressure suit's blend of organic and technological design, with paint applications replicating the pale skin and weathered details of the suit. Accessories include a head sculpt with a menacing expression, another head sculpt depicting facial burns after the spaceship crash, three pairs of interchangeable hands, and, most importantly, the canister accessory for the "Black Goo" bioweapon. These accessories allow collectors to vividly recreate iconic scenes from the film!
