Renowned poster design and toy company MONDO has revealed a new product tied to the annual San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) — the "Godzilla - Bitter Cherry Blossom Variant" soft vinyl figure, inspired by the film "Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack." This limited edition collectible, priced at $250 and restricted to just 200 units, is slated for pre-order on the MONDO SHOP official website on July 22, 2026, at 10 AM CT!
"Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" tells the story of Godzilla's vengeful return to Japan, this time possessed by the spirits of those who died in the Pacific War. Nearly invulnerable, humanity's only hope lies in cooperating with the three Guardian Monsters: Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah, to defeat him.
The "Godzilla - Bitter Cherry Blossom Variant" soft vinyl figure stands approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm) tall and measures about 12 inches (30.4 cm) long. MONDO Art Director Hector Arce personally handled the concept design, sculpting, and painting for this piece. The figure skillfully simplifies the iconic "white-eyed Godzilla" design with a unique sculptural style, while meticulously recreating the claws and dorsal fins in the distinctive proportions of a sofubi figure. Crafted from glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl, the figure features a delicate gradient spray of metallic powder and blue hues, accented with subtle gold details. In normal light, it evokes a cherry blossom aesthetic, while in darkness, it emits a striking, powerful glow. This piece is undeniably cool, no matter how you display it!
