US toy brand Hasbro has announced the latest addition to its "Marvel Legends" series: the "Wolverinepool (Concept Art)" 6-inch (approx. 15cm) action figure, inspired by the upcoming film "Deadpool & Wolverine." The figure is now available for pre-order, priced at $27.99, with an estimated release in October 2026.
The "Wolverinepool" design originated as a concept character from the behind-the-scenes art development for "Deadpool & Wolverine." It masterfully blends Deadpool's iconic red and black color scheme with elements of Wolverine's costume, creating a unique mash-up warrior that embodies both protagonists. While this particular design ultimately didn't make it into the final film, it generated significant fan buzz during the movie's promotional period, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about looks among "Deadpool & Wolverine" merchandise collectors.
This Marvel Legends rendition faithfully brings the movie's behind-the-scenes concept art to life. It includes two interchangeable hand sculpts, allowing collectors to display the figure with either retracted claws or the signature Adamantium claws extended, perfectly capturing this distinctive character that existed solely in the conceptual phase.
