Hong Kong-based action figure brand Storm Collectibles is set to release its latest 1/12 scale figure, "ZANGIEF," from the popular fighting game "Street Fighter Alpha 3" as part of its STROM ARENA line. The figure is slated for a Q1 2027 release.
Zangief is an iconic character from the Street Fighter series, first appearing in "Street Fighter II." This Soviet wrestling master is known for his signature muscular physique and red shorts, earning him the moniker "Red Cyclone." His massive frame grants him slower movements but devastating, one-hit knockout power. With his unique "muscle-first" philosophy and his deadly special move, the "Spinning Piledriver," he stands as one of the series' most recognizable heavyweight fighters!
Standing at 18 cm tall, the "STROM ARENA Zangief" figure meticulously sculpts his formidable, muscular physique and the scars covering his body on a robust base body. His iconic chest hair is also faithfully reproduced. The STROM ARENA series' flexible articulation design allows for a wide range of dynamic and powerful poses! The facial expressions feature a realistic design for his features, with two interchangeable head sculpts: a serious expression and a roaring face. Including the default hands, the figure comes with four pairs of interchangeable hands: fists, open palms, chop hands, and a translucent hand specifically designed to recreate his classic "Banishing Flat" move. Accessories include a blue effect part for the "Banishing Flat" and a dedicated display stand, allowing collectors to recreate various battle scenes with previously released Street Fighter figures!
