According to a recent report from Puck News, Letterboxd has been quietly exploring a sale for several months. Major players including Paramount Global, Sony Pictures, Netflix, and private equity firm TPG, along with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, are reportedly considering bids. Letterboxd's owners have already engaged in preliminary discussions with multiple potential buyers. Investment bank LionTree is reportedly handling the sale, with current estimates valuing Letterboxd at approximately $250 million.
