Bestselling author Dan Brown's "Robert Langdon" series has been a hot property for Hollywood adaptations since its inception. "Angels & Demons," "The Da Vinci Code," and "Inferno" formed the Tom Hanks-led film trilogy, while "The Lost Symbol" was independently adapted into a single-season series for the streaming platform Peacock.

Now, Brown's latest sixth installment in the Langdon series, titled "The Secret of Secrets," is also set for screen adaptation. Deadline recently announced that Netflix is developing a live-action series for "The Secret of Secrets," with "Godzilla vs. Kong" star Rebecca Hall and her actor husband Morgan Spector reportedly in talks to co-star.
Spector is expected to portray the new Langdon, while Hall will play Langdon's scientist girlfriend, Catherine. Carlton Cuse, creator of the Amazon series "Jack Ryan," will serve as the writer and showrunner for the series. Production is slated to officially begin this fall.
