Japan's high-end statue brand Prime 1 Studio has announced the "Ultimate Diorama Masterline 'Aliens' Alien Queen Bonus Version (UDMAL-01S)" statue. Pre-orders are now open, with an estimated shipping window from November 2027 to February 2028. Priced at $8,699, this piece is limited to just 40 units worldwide.
"Aliens," the 1986 sci-fi horror action film directed by James Cameron, is set 57 years after the original. It sees Ripley lead a squad of Colonial Marines back to LV-426, only to discover the colony has been completely overrun by Xenomorphs. The film's climactic showdown, where Ripley ventures deep into the hive alone to rescue the orphaned Newt and confronts the Alien Queen, remains one of the most breathtaking sequences in sci-fi cinema history.
This statue centers on the iconic scene where Ripley rescues Newt, recreating the LV-426 underground hive as a colossal diorama measuring a full 140cm wide and weighing approximately 86.8kg. The Alien Queen gazes down with an expression that blends regal authority with primal maternal instinct. Even her rarely sculpted Ovipositor is meticulously rendered in clear material, conveying that chilling, organic lifeform texture. The diorama base is littered with Alien Eggs, Facehuggers, and parasitic hosts, alongside Alien Warriors lurking in the shadows, all contributing to the ominous atmosphere of the entire scene.
The product includes two interchangeable head sculpts (looking right / looking left), along with two sets each of interchangeable forelimbs and mid-limbs, allowing collectors to freely adjust the pose. A display stand for the head sculpts is also included. The Bonus Version further enhances the horror with an additional opened Alien Egg, revealing a clearly visible Facehugger patiently awaiting its next victim – elevating the viewer's goosebumps to another level.
In the same series, the "Alien Warrior (UDMAL-02)" is also available for pre-order, designed to expand the entire hive diorama when displayed alongside this piece.
